We are on the B5282 overlooking the Kent estuary, between Milnthorpe and Arnside. On a clear day you can savour the Lake District fells and valleys of the Langdales and Coniston Old Man.
Ray, Lyn and the staff and once again receiving rave reviews for their delicious, reasonably-priced food and atmosphere. Not to mention the real ales with a choice of three available all year-round, and four during the summer months. These include Black Sheep bitter, Lancaster Blonde, Golden Pippin, and Golden Sunset.
All food at the Ship Inn at Sandside is home cooked on the premises using local local, fresh ingredients wherever possible. There is a daily specials board which changes as to the season with a traditional roast every Sunday. Pies are home-baked with fresh haddock (when available) and pizzas are available to takeaway.
There is a large car park at the Ship Inn. So why not make a point of calling in to savour a great meal and the spectacular Lake District views!
