As an actor, he was offered the male lead in The Graduate in the West End opposite Jerry Hall, but turned it down to play Peter 'Geordie' Gardner in BBC's Second World War film Night Flight alongside Edward Woodwood. As “Britain’s Master Quizmistress” Ms Quiz has been entertaining quiz teams across the country for over five years. Simply put, once you've taken part in a Ms Quiz quiz you'll be chomping at the bit for more.
With a fresh, feminine professional style Ms Quiz combines wit and wisdom to ensure your quiz nights go with a bang.
Whether you're a watering hole looking for a weekly quiz to pamper your punters, an organisation looking for a titilating team-building event or perhaps want to put on a birthday bash with a difference . . . . Ms Quiz has the perfect package.
We provide a truly bespoke service which is tailored to your individual needs and budget, from a pre-site visit to providing fun, creative and challenging questions.
What are you waiting for! To book a quiz night, confirm availability and prices just get in touch.
Area: Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and North London.
Everyone loves a good quiz, it's a British institution! But a quiz night doesn’t have to mean some bloke reading questions from a piece of paper about the 1958 FA Cup final*; and it doesn't have to take place in a pub. At Quiz Events we truly take quizzing to the next level.
Pub Quiz Style
Our classic pub quiz-style events are run off custom-built DVDs and projected onto a big screen. We can create and host for you a completely tailor-made quiz based around any particular theme or topic you desire - whether it’s the decade in which you were born, or your favourite film genre.
Alternatively, we have a number of ‘off-the-shelf’ quizzes that are ready to play, or easily adapted to suit your requirements, by adding questions on your company or product, or trivia questions about the birthday boy or girl! All our off-the-shelf quizzes include colour picture rounds and two music-based rounds as standard, all seamlessly integrated into the onscreen presentation.
Whatever your event, we have a quiz to meet your budget.
To explore our most popular pub-style quizzes that are available 'off-the-shelf' and ready to play, select a theme from the menu on the right.
Our audiovisual events bring pub quizzing into the 21st century, but if you’re looking for something even more impressive, how about an interactive event incorporating our custom-built buzzer system that pits teams in a head-to-head tournament? Or combine one of our pub quiz-style events with a series of buzzer rounds to get the adrenaline pumping or even to put individual team members under the spotlight.
While we already have a number of ready-made quizzes that are available ‘off-the-shelf’, at Quiz Events we pride ourselves on our creative ingenuity and our technical know-how, and if you can’t find the perfect event listed here then we are happy to make it for you!
We can work to any budget and specification, and can customize one of our existing events or build you something entirely from scratch to fit any topic and any theme.

Quiz Show Run-through and pilot contestant for a number of other shows.
I started attending quizzes in the mid 1990s when I was a player in a team based in Chichester that played in a Sports Quiz League covering South East Hampshire and West Sussex. It was from this that I got a serious quiz bug. Friends started to join with me around the local pub quiz circuit and it was after one of those friends who was then a Civil Servant asked if I'd like to host a quiz at the local Social Club with him.
So back in 1999, complete with six standard rounds - General Knowledge, Entertainment, Pictures, Sport, Music and a Mystery Round. I started to be a joint host of the quiz and as the years went by, I was left to do the quiz on my own with 12-15 teams. I have continued to host this quiz to the present day but with more variety in the rounds where I like to keep things moving at a fast pace by coming up with new style rounds and different subjects. Picture and Music rounds are created especially for each quiz and are based upon the audience to keep them sweet and keep attending future quizzes. I fully research all questions and tailor my quizzes for the target audience to ensure any event is fun for all who attend. I am also happy to consult anyone who wants to host a quiz and needs any advice or support.
I have also presented Civil Service Regional Music Quizzes and a Sports Quiz in a local pub in the past but in more recent times, I have hosted quizzes for my former high school to raise funds to obtain more equipment and such like. In amongst all of this, I have appeared on many TV quiz shows with the highlight being the dart thrower on Bullseye when it made a reappearance on Challenge in 2006 and having hit five prizes out of six darts I can be very proud of my performance on the show. I have also had the pleasure of being called up as a runthrough contestant for quiz show pilots as I have a great mix of quirkyness, humour and Hawaiian shirts.
