The Barley Mow is located in the middle of the historic village of Tandridge. We serve delicious, locally sourced food in a relaxed and friendly environment. We have a beautiful interior bar and pub area where you can relax and enjoy some of our home cooked traditional pub classics and hearty meals.

The Pub is set in a rural area but with easy access to London, Gatwick Airport and many local places of interest. It is the perfect stop off point on a journey along the M25 or toward the city.

We are proud to offer restaurant-quality meals and bar food, cooked to order and prepared from fresh seasonal produce to create a variety of tempting dishes.

Offering traditional pub food with daily changing dishes using fresh, local ingredients. Since the Pub’s renovation this year the pub has been the chosen meeting place for all generations and local people.

We have a fantastic new chef, cooking up daily specials & a delicious regularly changing menu.  The food at The Barley Mow is always interesting & best of all, FRESH! Featuring the popular traditional pub dishes and a great sunday roast.

The Barley Mow is a traditional “Olde Worlde” pub recommended by CAMRA for its range of Real Ales including Badger First Gold, Tanglefoot and Sussex. Also available is Hofbrau, Stella Artois, Guinness and Stowford Press Cider. We have a fine selection of the Hall & Woodhouse Ale collection from Badger Ales. These Ales are locally produced specially for Hall & Woodhouse pubs & The Barley Mow. Whether you are a keen Ale drinker or fancy something new on your next visit they are definitely worth a try.

The pub has a stunning Beer Garden that has wheelchair access with seating and parasols for those sunny Summer days. Traditional Sunday lunch served every Sunday and there are BBQ’s during the Summer.

Smokers are accommodated with an outside shelter fitted with heating and lighting. Children are welcome until 9pm and dogs are welcome in the bar area, part of which has a traditional slab flooring area ideal for dogs and walkers with those muddy boots. Coach parties by appointment.We have three guest rooms available. One double with en-suite, and two double/family rooms with shared bathroom. All rooms have TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. Ironing facilities are available on request.

Room rates include full English or Continental breakfast. The rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard and provide comfortable and convenient accommodation in a friendly and informal atmosphere


Our Fun quiz s held fortnightly on a Tuesday, starts 8.30pm.

£2.50 per person, up to 6 in a team.
